You are my hiding place

10 days... I hope the rest of the nights aren't like this one. Couldn't sleep until after midnight. Woke at 4:15. And we're having dinner at a good friend's house tonight.
How will I survive the day? In the strength of the Lord.

You are my hiding place
You always fill my heart
With songs of deliverance
Whenever I am afraid
I will trust in You

I will trust in You
Let the weak say
I am strong
In the strength of the Lord

You are my hiding place
You always fill my heart
With songs of deliverance
Whenever I am afraid
I will trust in You

I will trust in You
Let the weak say I am strong
In the strength of the Lord
I will trust in You

12 days!!!! OHMIGOSH!

Only 12 days! I'll have to actually start acting like a grown-up soon. I'll have to run a house, though I won't be alone in that, of course. I will have my husband to help! :D

So, in the following 12 days, I am hoping to have finished all these jobs, and more:

- Cleaning the fridge and fitting it with enough food for one night and morning (that shouldn't be too hard)
- Cleaning my desk and transporting all the stuff over to our house
- Putting the finishing touches on the bouquets
- Buying the last few things we need (shower head, useful laundry things)
- Cleaning all the mouldy things that got mouldy from under the house
- Packing for the honeymoon
- Stocking up the pantry
- Organise paperwork, student card and the subjects I am doing at UC
- Buying paper for and then printing the order of service
- Finish sorting out the table seating for the reception
- Figure out who is where and when!

And on that note, I am going to go to the UC and get them to change my address and help me to enrol.

I should probably figure out what my address is...

Home

I'm home now... But am I really home? It seems I left my home back in Melbourne, but then thinking again my home will never be found in this life time because my true home is in heaven.

It's strange, until Jess moved to Canberra I felt like my home was in Canberra. Then Jess moved to Canberra and I still felt like my home was here, but now she's in Melbourne and I'm back 'home'. Only it doesn't feel much like home without Jess being in Canberra too.

I miss my Jess. But she will be back soon and then we can start getting our house ready for when we move in :D

Awesome

What is awesome?

For me, awesome is:

Lazing on a lounge, not having to do anything, particularly when I don't want to.

Thinking about the joy of being married to Phil in 28 days.

Feeling full, and knowing that the second I feel hungry again I can eat of anything in this house of plenty. Particularly gingerbread!

Having a phone in my pocket with which I can immediately contact Phil.

Watching Seven Brides for Seven Brothers and being thankful that I am not marrying Phil so I can cook and clean for him and his brothers. He only has three anyway!

Planning out where to put things in my kitchen, thinking of how many beautiful and useful things that my generous friends have given me.

I hope you have lots of blessings too :)
